Frequently Asked Questions
Clear answers for the road, the room, and the weather.01Arrival and departure
+
Rooms are ready from 4 PM. Check-out is at 11 AM. If the road puts you here early, leave bags with the desk and take the creek path while we finish your room.
02Breakfast
+
A simple lodge breakfast is included for overnight guests from 7:30 to 10:30 AM. Coffee starts earlier. We always have vegetarian and gluten-aware choices; tell us about allergies before arrival.
03Children
+
Young travelers are welcome. Twin Pines Double and both houses are the easiest options for families. Cribs are available in limited numbers by advance request.
04Dogs
+
A small number of ground-floor rooms welcome dogs for a nightly housekeeping fee. Dogs must remain leashed outdoors and cannot join the breakfast room.
05Accessibility
+
The main lodge entrance, restaurant, and several guest rooms are step-free. Contact the desk through the booking request form so we can match the room to your needs.
06Changes and cancellations
+
Flexible reservations may be changed without charge up to seven days before arrival. Seasonal packages and whole-house bookings carry their own terms, shown before confirmation.
07Parking and charging
+
Parking is free beside the lodge. Two shared electric-vehicle chargers are available first come, first served; move your vehicle after charging so another guest can plug in.
08Weather
+
Mountain weather changes quickly. The lodge stays open year-round, but winter travelers should arrive with suitable tires and check regional road notices before setting out.
